You need to start planning for your child's college education now, no matter your child's age.
April Query with the College Foundation of North Carolina shared tips for parents and teens on WECT News First at Four.
"I would recommend that parents start saving for college as soon as they are able to," she said.
Query said as soon as your child has a social security card, you can start saving for that child's college education.
You can find out how much college could cost for your child by going to CFNC.org.
