UNCW's Department of Communication Studies will host its second Integrated Marketing Communication Camp on June 2-3 at the university's Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Sessions during the camp will focus on market research and analytics, social media, brand identity and management, and media and communication training. Sessions will be led by members of the communication studies faculty.
The camp is open to communication professionals, nonprofit organizations, small business owners and UNCW employees.
“At IMC Camp, our guiding question is ‘How can IMC facilitate engagement with audiences such as residents, voters, customers, volunteers, students and alumni,’” said Jeanne Persuit, IMC camp director and associate professor. "We are so often in the thick of the work of the organization that we forget to stop and learn new skills and make connections with our peers We hope IMC Camp is a time for our attendees to recharge and learn.”
