First at Four: Trade in your old toys for cash

Ever wonder if your old toys are worth money?

You can find out at the Wilmington Antique Toy and Doll Buying Show.

The show runs through Tuesday, May 17, at the SpringHill Suites, 1014 Ashes Drive in Wilmington. Doors are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Bruce Zalkin, a leading toy expert, will be at the event. He said he is interested in buying "1960's and older Barbie-related dolls and clothing, antique French and German Bisque Dolls, Lenci, Mattel, Madame Alexander (made before 1965), Shirley Temple, Ginny and most dolls before the 1960's."

In addition to dolls, Zalkin said he is interested in toys, including pre-1970's Hot Wheels, battery-operated toys and robots, super hero figures, cars and trucks, Tonka, Buddy L, PEZ dispensers and Lionel and Flyer electric trains.
