Freshman Hannah Adamczyk and sophomore Kelsey Bryan each added two hits for UNCW, which finished with 13 hits. Bryan also scored two runs while Adamczyk contributed a run batted in.
Freshman Haley Lenderman earned the win in relief after throwing 4.0 shutout innings. She allowed just two hits while upping her record to 5-4.
Senior Kayla Caruso suffered the loss for the Phoenix after allowing one run on nine hits in 9.2 innings. She posted eight strikeouts with five walks as her record dropped to 8-6.
