You have another chance to watch a man with local ties to Wilmington compete on the national stage.
UNCW graduate, Jordan Sasser will fight for a spot in the Top 10 Wednesday and Thursday nights on Fox Wilmington.
Sasser says he's excited for everyone to watch the next round of American Idol's farewell season.
Of course, he couldn't tell us too many details, but he did say Wednesday night you'll be able to see another solo performance from him on the big stage.
Thursday night, Sasser will perform a duet with one of the past Idol winners. He couldn't say who his duet is with, but Sasser did say it's been one of his most memorable experiences yet.
Jordan says he's overwhelmed with all the support and wanted to thank everyone in Wilmington who has been cheering him on.
"Thanks to everyone at UNCW who has been following my journey and supporting me and believing in me," commented the American Idol contestant. "UNCW was a big part, a big stepping stone in my life especially not only the community that I built, but participating in Dub-Idol. When I won that in 2011, I remember thinking 'Wow if I can do this, I can keep chasing after bigger dreams.'"
L.A. is a cool, crazy place. A lot of people chasing a lot of things. I believe wherever I am,… https://t.co/glwg5nUvCc— Jordan Sasser (@JordanSasser) February 10, 2016
