WILMINGTON (UNCW) -

This week you have a chance to learn about different cultures around the world all from the campus of UNCW.

UNCW is hosting its 23rd Intercultural week, also known as iweek. It is free and open to the public.

From international films to learning how to write in Arabic, there are a lot of hands on activities, discussion and panels people can attend.

"Over 50 countries are represented by our international students so I think it is time for the community, other students, faculty, and staff to engage, learn and explore other cultures," said Jennifer Fernandez-Villa, the Director of International Student Scholar Services.

From undergraduate to doctorate students Fernandez-Villa said UNCW had 200 international students last fall.
