WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Homeless shelters are seeing an influx of people.

With the below freezing temperatures, more people are seeking shelter and safety.

"We have 118 beds," said Good Shepard executive director Katrina Knight. "We have plenty of room for any man, woman, or child that needs a warm place to sleep."

A lot of food has been donated to accommodate the extra people in the shelters for the next few days.

Many volunteers will give of their time to make sure that everyone is fed, clothed, and warm.

Clothing and blankets are still needed.

If you would like to donate you can do so by calling Good Shepherd at 910-763-4424.
