UNCW Press Release
WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Junior guard Amber Reeves may have led UNCW with 19 points against Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon, but it was her final two points of the game which made the difference as she sank two free throws with no time remaining to lift the Seahawks to an 81-80 overtime win in an exhibition game at Trask Coliseum.
One of five UNCW players to score in double figures, Reeves was fouled as time expired in the overtime period and with the Seahawks trailing by an 80-79 margin. She converted both free throws as the Seahawks beat the Trojans in exhibition play for the second straight year.
