Seahawks wrap up regular season at Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WECT) - The regular season comes to an end tonight for the Seahawks (33-15) when they visit Chapel Hill for a date with the Tar Heels (33-19).

UNCW currently sits in second place in the CAA standings and will host James Madison in the final regular season series beginning on Thursday.

The Seahawks need a win or a Northeastern loss at Charleston to earn a first-round bye in the league tournament to be played in Charleston.

Tuesday's game will be the second meeting of the season between the Seahawks and Tar Heels who played a 12 inning game on April 22. North Carolina won that game 6-5.

First pitch from Chapel Hill is scheduled for 6 o'clock.
