SHALLOTTE, NC (WECT) - A man in jail under a $3 million bond for drug-related charges is now out of jail.
Records show Lamarr McDow bonded out of the Brunswick County Jail shortly after 5 p.m. Friday. We're told a bonding company put up the money to have McDow released.
Officials say McDow is a validated gang member. He was arrested back in November, along with two other men, on several charges including trafficking heroin.
He also faced a second charge of conspiring to traffic heroin after an incident in July in which more than 8,000 bags of heroin were seized by police.
We're working now to learn more about his release from jail.
