A chilly #WECTSunset across the lower Cape Fear - WECT TV6-WECT.com:News, weather & sports Wilmington, NC

A chilly #WECTSunset across the lower Cape Fear

Monday's highs were in the mid 70s across the region. Behind the front, temperatures struggled into the 40s with wind chills in the 30s all day long.

A streak of mid and high level stratocumulus and cirrostratus clouds pushed into the region late in the day to give way to a great sunset.

Even though it was cold outside, that didn't stop people from getting out and snapping great pictures.

Remember you can also send your pictures using the "SEE IT, SNAP IT, SEND IT" feature on WECT.com or using the hashtag on facebook and twitter, #WECTSunset to our various social media outlets.
