WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

The UNCW men's soccer team gathered at Buffalo Wild Wings Monday to watch the NCAA selection show together as a team.

BWW live streamed the show, but because the internet connection was slow, it buffered right through the bracket screen for UNCW.

When the show was over, many members of the team thought they didn't make it to the tournament, but social media proved otherwise.

The Seahawks checked Twitter and learned they would host Bucknell Thursday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the tournament. If they win, they will advance to play Virginia.

This is the first time the UNCW men's soccer team has made an NCAA tournament appearance since 2009.
