Victim punched in the face with brass knuckles after carjacking

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Wilmington officials say two men were carjacked at knifepoint, forced to drive to another location, and robbed of their money early Sunday morning.

According to officials, two male victims were driving home after spending the night downtown, when they pulled over to switch drivers.

Two male suspects, masked and armed with knives, jumped into the back of their vehicle and demanded the victims drive to Lullwater Drive.

When they arrived, four other males approached the vehicle on foot. One of the victims was struck in the face with a pair of brass knuckles.

The suspects then took the victims' money and left the area.

The investigation is still ongoing.
