BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

Authorities arrested a woman who they say led several officers on a high speed chase down White Lake Drive Saturday evening.

According to Chief Bruce Smith with the White Lake Police Department, officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at Camp Clearwater, shortly before 7 p.m.

When officers arrived, Smith said Eva Privette fled the scene and led four officers on a 10 minute chase down White Lake Drive. The chase came to a close at a dead end on Village 12 Road near White Lake.

Privette was charged with several offenses including felony speeding to elude arrest, three counts of assault on government officials, DWI, careless and reckless driving, failure to stop for blue light and passing on a double yellow.

Smith said he expects more charges to follow. He added that alcohol played a significant factor in the incident.
