Pender man charged with sex crimes with a minor

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

A man from Pender County has been charged with several sex crimes involving a minor.

Inferiah Nar'real Page was arrested in connection to sexually assaulting and raping a 13-year-old girl in 2013. The report didn't go reported until May of 2014,  according to Capt. Jamie Ezzell with the Pender County Sheriff's Office.

Page was 20 years old at the time of the crime that occurred, which happened in his home located in Watha.

Page was charged with the following and booked into the Robeson County Detention Center under a $200,000 bond:

  • Second degree rape
  • Statutory rape where age different was greater than 6 years (2 counts)
  • Indecent liberties with a child
  • Attempted second degree sexual offense
  • Sexual battery

Page was arrested in Red Springs, NC.

    William Huff terrorized Sierra Vista during the spring and summer of 1967. Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
