Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
According to police, the ShotSpotter system reported gunfire around 3:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Wright Street.
When officers arrived, they found Edmund Lane, 33, and Danny Miller, 52, both shot multiple time.
Lane later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries, while Miller remains hospitalized.
Investigators found multiple shell casings at the scene and said there appeared to be a fight where the men were found.
Police hope the autopsy will give them clues into this case.
