WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

The stars of Sleepy Hollow cooled off on the set of the show in Wilmington by taking part in the "ice bucket challenge."

The cast of the new FOX show, Gotham, challenged the Sleepy Hollow cast to take part in the challenge, which is raising money and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Tuesday, Neil Jackson, Lyndie Greenwood and John Noble got soaked.

The three stars from the hit FOX show are challenging the other members of the cast and the judges from So You Think You Can Dance to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

As of Tuesday, August 19, the ALS Association has raised nearly $23 million in donations compared to $1.9 million during the same time period last year.
