Corey brings the Health Center's WrapAround Care story online
WATERTOWN, Mass., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Corey McPherson Nash (www.corey.com), the nationally prominent branding and digital agency, announced the launch of Lowell Community Health Center's new website. The website is informed by Corey's previous strategic brand communications work for the Health Center.
Lowell Community Health Center (Lowell CHC) is a non-profit, community-based organization that provides access to high quality health care to nearly 50,000 Greater Lowell residents of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. LCHC also serves a particularly diverse, multicultural community. Roughly 80 of LCHC's staff members are trained medical translators, and 28 different languages are spoken by its employees.
The Corey team identified four primary goals to create a successful website for the Health Center:
Corey created a warm, friendly and professional online experience by juxtaposing authentic and emotive photography with a clean, simple and accessible user interface. As an aid to the site's non-English speaking visitors and wide ranging literacy levels, Corey incorporated icons and imagery that provide recognizable visual cues to content location and navigation. In addition to English, the site includes dedicated pages for Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese visitors.
