CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Both lanes of Interstate 55 northbound are back open just south of Cape Girardeau after a crash involving a tractor trailer and a tractor hauling excavating equipment.

The driving lane of northbound I-55 at the 93 mile marker was closed after the Monday morning crash.

Oil spilled from the vehicles, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. No word on what the tractor trailer was carrying.

The driver of the tractor trailer has minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene. Missouri Department of Transportation responded to the scene.
