BUSTED: Brunswick Co. authorities arrest 5 for multiple drug charges

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office announced Friday afternoon the arrest of five individuals on multiple drug charges.

According to officials, Antonio Green, 35, of Leland was arrested Thursday and charged with:

  • four counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine
  • manufacturing cocaine
  • maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance
  • three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia 
Green is currently in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $260,000 bond.

Joseph Wayne Everhart, 32, of Ocean Isle Beach was arrested Friday and charged with:
  • felony possession of cocaine
  • possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • trafficking opium/heroin
  • possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II narcotic (oxycodone)
  • possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule IV narcotic (diazepam)
Everhart is currently in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $750,000 bond.

Brunswick County authorities also arrested three people from Southport following multiple tips and complaints from the community.

Drew Trevor Brice, 29, of Southport was charged with:
  • possession of marijuana up to 12 ounces
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin
  • maintain a dwelling for a controlled substance
Brice is currently in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $15,000 bond.

Doris Ann Brice, 49, of Southport was charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. Brice is under a $5,000 bond.

Terrell Jamal Pompey, 25, of Southport was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Pompey is under a $20,000 bond.
