VANCOUVER, BC, August 15, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Art! Vancouver, the first international art fair to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, is expected to be one of the largest exhibitions to ever hit Western Canada.

Although Vancouver is a thriving source of creativity, beauty, and artwork, the city has yet to establish itself internationally as a major art destination; Art! Vancouver, many believe, will be a step in doing so.

"Art Vancouver is creating a prestigious platform to exhibit works of the highest merit to attract private and commercial collectors, build dynamic relationships, and connect the international art community under one roof," says Lori McPhee, a lead coordinator for Art! Vancouver. "This is the first of its kind hosted in Vancouver, and we are diligently working around the clock to see that this event is built up to be a huge success for years to come."

Respected and nationally-renowned artists, such as David Tycho and Serge Dube, as well as dealers and art aficionados from around the world, will be in attendance.

"Together, we will make the Vancouver art scene something to see, and help develop Vancouver into one of the most exciting cultural metropolis' in North America." Says McPhee.

The exhibition is set for May 21st - May 25th, 2015, while the registration deadline for artists and art galleries is November 1st, 2014.
