GUEST: CSU dance conservatory open house

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus State University's dance conservatory has a full agenda for the new 2014 - 2015 school year.

Lisa Carter has a background in ballet and started dancing when she was four years old. She has traveled the world teaching others how to dance. Carter is the new director of the conservatory and is here to tell us about more what's happening this year.

The CSU conservatory is a dance studio that offers classes to students two years old and older, and to dancers of all skill levels. Their jazz, modern, and tap dance classes are open to the public. Carter says she wants the conservatory to offer the best dance training classes in the Columbus area.

The conservatory will host an open house on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Rankin Arts Center. If you are interested in taking classes for yourself or someone you know, call 706-507-8070 for more information.
