NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A suspected South Nashville bank robber was arrested Thursday evening in Memphis by Shelby County Sheriff's deputies and FBI agents.

Kershawn Globe, 26, a convicted felon, is accused in last Saturday morning's robbery of Fifth Third Bank at 47 East Thompson Lane. Police say he is also believed to have committed a carjacking at an Elm Hill Pike gas station.

Information developed shortly after the robbery led Metro officers and FBI agents to a home on Elissa Drive, where money taken from the bank was recovered. Globe fled from the home and managed to elude capture until Thursday.

Globe's alleged accomplice, 46-year-old Darrin Caver, was arrested Saturday evening. He is accused of driving Globe to and from the bank.
