Pair who fled police arrested in north Phoenix

PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

A couple is in custody after they fled sheriff's deputies during a traffic stop Aug. 1 in Black Canyon City.

Dustin Bush, 30, of Cottonwood, had been wanted on robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and endangerment charges stemming from an incident in Cottonwood in mid-July.

He had a companion, Colene Perkins, with him at the time of the traffic stop, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said.

On Wednesday, leads developed by the U.S. Marshals Office led authorities to an address in the North Phoenix area.

At about 1 a.m., both suspects we relocated and apprehended without incident. They were booked into the Camp Verde Jail.

Bail has been set for Bush at $250,000 and Perkins at $20,000.
