A man accused of robbing two businesses in Southport has been arrest.
Law enforcement officials said they have arrested Robert Anthony Nichols, 51, in connection to the robberies.
He was first accused of robbing the Murphy Gas Station in Southport Wednesday. The second robbery happened Thursday at the Tobacco Road Outlet on Long Beach Road in Southport.
Nichols has been charged with two counts of common law robbery.
He was booked into the Brunswick County Jail under a $30,000 bond.
