Nashville Ballet launches new fundraising campaign

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Nashville Ballet wants to make some big changes, and it has launched a fundraising campaign to help.

The ballet wants to expand its studio space and renovate its Sylvan Heights headquarters. The ballet also wants to add four more dance studios and start accepting more students.

The ballet is trying to raise $5.5 million, and they already have more than half of that.

Officials with the ballet hope the new campaign, called Elevate, will help push the fundraising efforts over the top.
