WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -
Crews for Fox's hit television show Sleepy Hollow transformed downtown Wilmington into a war zone Wednesday morning.
According to film permits, crews will shoot several war scenes involving characters armed with swords, horsemen riding through the aftermath of burnt cars and debris, flaming barrels, propane blasts, and even a few fireballs!
Filming is scheduled to last from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday with Orange Street closed between Water and Front Streets.
Sleepy Hollow's second season will premiere Monday, Sept. 22.
