Travelers across the world have ranked the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher as one of the best.

The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher ranked number 17th in the country, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores ranked 19th and the Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach ranked 11th according to TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor announced the best aquariums based on the reviews and opinions of the website's users. Travelers' Choice awards honor top travel spots worldwide based on the millions of valuable reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travelers gathered over a 12-month period.
