BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

A woman was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after being involved in an accident with a service truck.

According to emergency officials, it appears the service truck ran through a stop sign at the intersection of Stone Chimney Road and Stanley Road near Holden Beach.

The truck hit a mini-van, and officials had to use "Jaws of Life" to get the driver of the van out.

The driver was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
