Officers arrested a man after receiving a call from New Hanover Regional Medical Center about a suspicious U-Haul truck in the parking lot Friday morning.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers received consent from the driver of the U-haul and searched the truck around 6:30 a.m.
Police say that inside the truck were boxes with shipping labels on them.
Officers contacted the person whose address was listed, and were informed by the person that he was not missing anything from his home, but that he did have a storage unit.
According to police, the victim went to his storage unit located at 6798 Market Street and discovered that it was locked with a lock that did not belong to him.
The victim then contacted the property manager to cut the lock. Once inside, the victim noticed that several miscellaneous items were missing from the unit.
Officers arrested the suspect, 40-year-old Brendan Timothy Rogers, and charged him with breaking or entering, larceny, and possession of burglary tools.
