WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

The New Hanover County Library is partnering with the New Hanover County Parks Department to feature "Little Free Libraries."

The sign on the Little Free Library at Kings Grant Park tells readers to "take a book" and "leave a book."

According to the library, they will be holding a contest to re-name the project. The "Little Free Library" website says there are 15,000 free libraries registered in the world.

"We don't have to get our parents to drive us to the library," said one park-goer.

There are currently two little free libraries at Arrowhead Park and Kings Grant Park.
