COLUMBUS, GA (WALB) -

Snake experts from Jarrod's Affordable Wildlife Eviction caught a python that was between 10 and 11 feet long, Saturday in North Columbus.

It seems the snake was kept as a pet, and got away from its owner, and was found two blocks away.  The errant reptile has been returned to its owner.

Later today, we hope to get more from the person who saw the snake in his yard, and called the capture company.
