Officers responded to calls in reference to the breaking and entering of three different vehicles in Greenfield Park early Monday.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, the victims had parked each of their vehicles in the PVA of Greenfield Lake around 7 a.m. Monday to go running.

The victims told officers that they had left their belongings in their vehicles, which were locked.

When the victims returned to their vehicles approximately 45 minutes later, they noticed that a side window on each car had been smashed and that their cash and credit cards had been stolen.

As officers were gathering information from the victims, one woman learned that her credit card had already been used at a gas station.
