First Alert Forecast: nice weather continues into the weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Gorgeous weather will continue into the weekend!  Over time: heat, humidity, and thunderstorm chances will return. 

FRIDAY NIGHT: Look for partly cloudy skies and pleasant overnight lows in the mid to upper 60's. 

WEEKEND: Great weather continues!  It will remain comfortable with humidity levels only slowly rising.  Both days will be partly sunny with highs in the mid 80's and lows in the upper 60's.  Look for a spot shower or thunderstorm chance on Saturday (20% chance).  Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday (30% chance). 

MONDAY AND TUESDAY:  Humidity levels will begin to rise with highs  back in the upper 80's.  Lows return to the 70's.  Both days will feature isolated showers and thunderstorm chances in the afternoon and evening (30% chance). 

REST OF THE WEEK: Hot and humid with scattered showers and storms for Thursday and Friday.  Highs return to the low 90's with plenty of humidity.  Muggy overnight lows in the mid 70's are likely. 

TROPICS: Tropical storm development is not likely in the Atlantic Basin (including the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico) through the weekend.
