The #DefendFreedom Summer Tour put on by Concerned Veterans for America has put out a call to action to fellow Americans.
They are asking the country to stand up and support those who have served our country, not just while they are deployed, but also when they come back home.
Hundreds gathered outside the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington Friday to hear speakers like Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, New York Times best-selling author and decorated Army Ranger Sean Parnell, Navy SEAL Gold Star mother Karen Vaughn, and CVA CEO and Fox News contributor Pete Hegseth.
"The main message we want to get across here tonight is if you love this nation and you're worried about where it's headed, it's time to take action," Hegseth said. "It's time to do something about it. It's not enough just to feel frustrated in the angst we all feel. Sign up. Get involved. Get engaged. Be a part of the solution. We all served in uniform because we love this nation, now let' go that next step and continue fighting here at home."
The tour was also in Fayetteville, NC Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Cape Fear Harley.
