"A very remarkable accomplishment to say the least" said Ocean Rescue Director Dave Baker. "Knowing that everyone is looking to take you down a notch and they all are gunning for you, is a testament to the amount of training and dedication each team member had to uphold last year's performance."

You can meet the Ocean Rescue Team at Wrightsville Beach Park on Thursday, July 3t at 6:30 p.m. during the WECT Sounds of Summer Concert in the park where they will be selling BBQ plates as part of their fundraising efforts to compete at the national level.
