Officers responded to a call from a victim of an armed robbery at 4194 Spirea Drive around 4 a.m. Sunday.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, the victim told officers that he was in his bathroom when several suspects approached him and threw him on his bed.
The victim then said that the suspects threatened him and stole a large sum of cash which he had hidden in his apartment.
After stealing the cash, the suspects then tied the victim to the bed and gagged him before running from the area.
After the suspects left, the victim said that he blacked out and woke up about three hours later. Upon waking up, the victim was able to slide a phone into his hand and dial 911.
No description of the suspects was provided. The WPD is continuing their investigation of the incident.
