Just in time for the Fourth of July, Opera House Theatre Company is performing the all-American musical On the Town.
It follows three sailors who have 24 hours leave in New York during wartime 1944. They each meet a special girl and spend the day falling for them and the city.
The cast says it's a perfect way to spend your holiday weekend.
"You have uniformed sailors, so I mean what better way to pay homage to America than having a tribute and having actual armed forces," actor James Ellison said. "It's got some great music in it, really fun music, jazzy numbers. The movie was done years ago and had Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly, so two big names. It's got a great, fun story plot and a lot of fun set and dances to come check out."
