WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -
Browncoat Theatre is taking a look inside the minds of men. Three very different men, in fact.
The group is performing Boys' Life by Howard Korder.
It focuses on longtime friends Don, Jack and Phil. One is cynical, one is confused and one is the butt of all the jokes.
Together they try to make that difficult transition from youthful adventures to the responsibility of middle age.
It's something the cast says anyone can relate to.
"If you're a younger person seeing this show, be prepared," actor Chase Harrison said. "This is what you're moving into, and I think if you're older, it's something you can look back on and go I remember that. If you're the age of the characters, you'll relate to everything you see be it Jack, Don, or Phil. I mean, I've been all three characters at some point in my life. You can't help but be the mean one and the punching bag and the confused one at some point. That's just how life goes."
