WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -
A truck rented by crews for Sleepy Hollow was stolen and later found on fire in Brunswick County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, a Sleepy Hollow crew member was putting up signs near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge directing other crew members where to go, when someone jumped into his truck and drove off towards Leland.
Brunswick County officials found the stolen truck on fire on West Goodman Road in Leland near the unfinished section of the I-140 overpass.
