Wilmington fire officials say a fire at 718 Wooster Street was intentionally set.
Wilmington firefighters were called just before lunchtime Wednesday to respond to a house fire near the intersection of Eighth and Wooster Streets.
Fire officials said they saw flames and smoke coming from the residence when they arrived, but were able to get the fire quickly under control.
Fire officials said the home was vacant and undergoing extensive renovations at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported. Damage has been estimated at $2,000.
Officials with the Wilmington Police Department and Fire Marshall's Office are continuing their investigation.
