The City of Wilmington will host a public meeting Wednesday to discuss a drainage improvement project planned for the Clear Run area.
According to the city, this is the first of a two-phase, multi-year project that will eventually address flooding on New Centre Drive.
City officials are looking for input on flooding and erosion concerns of private property owners who have been impacted.
The meeting will be held at College Park Elementary on Oriole Drive, 6-8 p.m.
The project costs about $9.6 million and is one of the largest drainage/flooding improvement plans the city has ever done.
