Cape Fear Limo owner Michael Faulkner and his attorney are lobbying for tougher limousine regulations in Wilmington.
Faulkner and his attorney plan to bring their concerns to Wilmington City Council Tuesday night. He has spoken publicly about limo safety before.
Faulkner said that companies are allowed to have too many for-hire licenses. He said they can hold up to 50 licenses right now.
He said this brings an outbreak of illegitimate limousine operators that have filled the Wilmington area with old, unsafe vehicles.
He'll be asking for safer ordinances at Tuesday's meeting.
