WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - We're getting our first look behind the scenes of a new movie filming in Wilmington.
The cameras are set, lights in place, and production crews from the upcoming feature film The Longest Ride worked their first day on set Monday in historic downtown Wilmington.
More than 100 crew members and 25 extras were in action at St. Mary Catholic School on Ann Street.
The team will be filming several classroom dialogue scenes at the location.
If you want to be part of the film, the production is currently seeking extras.
For scenes that film Wednesday, the production needs a "little girl helping her mom." According to a post on Facebook, they want an actual mother-daughter team. The daughter must be between ages 7 and 12.
