If you've seen Tiftarea's Taylor Folsom pitch, you know it.
It's hard to forget the funky, sidearm delivery that baffled hitters all season long.
Now Folsom is taking it to Tallahassee.
The Tiftarea lefty signed with Florida State in a private ceremony earlier this week.
For a kid who grew up a Seminoles fan, it's a dream come true.
"We went and toured it my sophomore year on spring break, and I always kind of laughed about playing there," he says. "It's breathtaking. It's different. It's going to be fun."
Panthers head coach Brad Porter says Florida State is not just getting a great pitcher, but a great person.
"He's a quality individual," Porter says. "I think that's a bigger portion of what they're getting is the young man itself and the character he's going to bring to their clubhouse."
Folsom will step into the FSU bullpen as a lefty specialist, and he believes his delivery will fit that role perfectly.
"It's just the weirdness, I guess, being left handed and coming from the side," he smiles. "It throws them off and hitters tend not to like it."
"He gives you that deception coming sidearm from the left side," Porter says. "He also has a little awkwardness in that sidearm. I think he can get out any lefty he faces."
Folsom isn't wasting much time getting to Tallahassee. He plans to move down this weekend and begin workouts with the team.
