A murder suspect wanted in Rowan County was arrested by Wrightsville Beach Police Thursday afternoon.
According to officials, Rodney Wallace, 47, was in a car with another woman near the Wrightsville Beach Town Hall when she began to scream there was a murderer in her car.
Wrightsville Beach Police quickly responded and arrested Wallace without incident.
Wallace was wanted by the Rowan County Police Department after the body of his ex-wife, Toney Ann Johnson, was found in a Spencer, NC neighborhood Wednesday morning.
