CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) -

Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis will not be coming to Carolina Beach to film a movie.

The two are filming a movie based on the Loomis Fargo heist in Charlotte. That's the largest heist in US history. A scout for the untitled film was at a Carolina Beach board meeting in June asking the town for approval to shoot scenes on the boardwalk.

Carolina Beach's Town Manager Michael Cramer, said he was informed by the production company that the movie will do final filming in Puerto Rico, not Carolina Beach.

Former SNL star Kristen Wiig also stars in the film.
