Wilmington Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired at the 1500 block of South 15th Street Saturday afternoon.
When police arrived, the victim was not being cooperative. Officers noticed the victim had at least one visible wound to the left waistline area and an entrance wound on the right buttocks.
The victim was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers found several shell casings at the scene. No other injuries were reported and no suspect is in custody.
Wilmington Police is continuing its investigation.
