BURGAW, NC (WECT) -
The Burgaw Police Department made two arrests in connection to an armed bank robbery that happened at the State Employee's Credit Union Friday morning.
Jordan Carroll, 24, and Alysha Harts Carroll, 20, were arrested Friday according to the Burgaw Police Department. Officials with the Pender County Sheriff's Police Department said the pair entered the SECU armed with a rifle and demanded money from the employees.
Jordan was spotted by Pender County Sheriff's deputies and arrested shortly after the robbery occurred. Alysha was arrested later in the day at her home.
Jordan was charged with the following and given a $191,500 secured bond.
Robbery with A Dangerous Weapon
Possession of Stolen Goods
Assault by Pointing a Gun
Wearing a Mask in Public
Alysha was charged with the following and given a $180,000 secured bond.
