WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

A lawsuit against the Wilmington Housing Authority for an alleged wrongful termination of an application for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program has been dismissed.

LaTonya Jackson's voucher was repealed in March 2013 due to forged paperwork.

Jackson claimed she didn't have the paperwork in the first place, so she appealed the termination. A hearing that took place a month later upheld the previous decision by WHA staff, according to court documents.

Jackson filed a complaint in federal court claiming she was denied a fair and impartial hearing which violated her right to due process.

Judge Boyle entered an order late Tuesday night granting the WHA's Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings and dismissed all of Jackson's claims in this case.

According to court documents, this case is now closed.
